The flying Tarboxes
Gurdon and Andrew. Gurdon was the first person to fly in Georgetown SC, in July of 1911. Seventeen year-old Andrew landed at the Georgetown County Airport this afternoon, almost 97 years after his great grandfather's inaugural flight. It couldn't have been better.
