The clock is ticking. I don't know what it is about our tree and the dining room this year, but my heart actually hurts when I think about retrieving all the Christmas boxes from the closet and returning the house to ordinary time. And, ordinary time, liturgically speaking, begins again at the end of this week.
Good news. I have five more mornings to sit in the living room and enjoy the tree while watching the morning come. Plus, we're going to use the dining room for our 12th night dinner on Wednesday evening.
It's not over yet.
